WatchTower has a robust indexing and caching architecture that keeps a large asset library ready to search, preview, and import to your timeline. It never scans or uploads your files or your device.
Why There’s a Login
WatchTower’s login verifies your license, resolves software issues, and pushes updates directly—eliminating hardware dongles and license keys. Signing in with email or Google confirms your account and activates your workstation with an anonymous machine fingerprint. One license covers one workstation across Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
What We Collect
Email, name, and login provider—used only to confirm a real purchase.
An anonymous machine ID, account ID, license status, and account timestamps.
OS, host application and build, plus installed plugin version to diagnose specific compatibility issues.
Anonymized crash traces, permission errors, decoder issues, and bridge timeouts—never filenames or media details.
Aggregate high-level feature counts used only to understand what helps most.
What We Never Collect
Video, audio, SFX, voiceovers, textures, and exports are never read, uploaded, or transmitted.
Folder names, paths, drive labels, and watch folder locations stay in a local database on your machine.
.prproj and .aep files, sequence names, bins, cut lists, markers, and client details are never inspected or sent.
Where the Data Goes
License checks and diagnostic logs travel over encrypted HTTPS to our database on Supabase (neographs.com). We don’t run third-party analytics, ad trackers, or telemetry, and we never sell or share your data.
